Q: Who can participate?
All fitness levels between 10 and 80 years of age.
Q: Am I in Good Enough Shape to do a Boot Camp?
Many people are afraid to come to a boot camp, because they don't think they are in good enough shape. However, your fitness level doesn't matter. Getting back into shape if you are significantly out of shape or overweight begins with movement. We tailor the workout to each individual's fitness level. So, we give you a hard way to do an exercise, and we give you an easy way to do in exercise. Even more, you can rest at any time, for as long as you want. We will push you to get in shape at your pace. Once you are showing improvement, we will push you a little harder.
Q: Is there anything I need to bring?
Just come prepared in workout clothes, and bring a bottle of water. It is also recommended (but not mandatory) that you bring a yoga/floor mat, as there are many core exercises we do on the ground.
Q: How much does it cost?
The pricing for our boot camps differ by location. We currently have two locations; one in Campbell (South Bay) and one in San Mateo (Peninsula). Please go to the SIGN UP page to view pricing.
Q: Will I lose weight?
In your first month, you may lose between 3-5 pounds. However, losing weight is the result of burning fat. But, our boot camp burns fat and builds muscle, so you may not notice much of a weight loss, because of the added muscle. What you will notice is that your clothes will fit looser and better. You can lose between 1-3 inches from your waistline in as little as 4 weeks.
Q: Will my muscles get too big
This is a primary concern for women. Fortunately, have no worries. The exercise and fitness program you are taken through, tones muscle and makes you firm and lean. If you want bigger stronger muscles, you have to lift heavier weights in the gym.
